Here at Showtime, we firmly believe that a team effort is required to provide our young students with a strong experience both in the arts and as we build their confidence.  A successful team always has at its core a strong communication vehicle.

 

SDCA utilizes an ever evolving communication toolkit including a variety of tools designed to ensure all of our staff, students, and parents are "in the loop" and to ensure potential student have access to the information they need to make quality choices.  Key components of our communication strategies include:

 

  • Website - we are constantly updating and enhancing the website to provide easier and more directed information.  Suggestions or comments about the website can be sent to ron@showtimedance.com.
  • Newsletters - we publish two different versions of our newsletter one for the studio as a whole the second with information specific to our Performing Groups (Dance and Theater).  These publications normally come out monthly via email, hardcopies are posted and available in the studio, and finally we have an archive of all the current year's communication on the website.
  • Hand Outs/Flyers - at key times of year, we provide hand-outs in each of the classes for events such as Dance Friends Week, Christmas Showcase, and Recital to name a few.  Hand-outs are designed to enhance information normally provided via the newsletter.
  • Video Clips/Online Flyers - an additional service we will start utilizing this year is access to on-line video clips and flyers under the "News" menu option on this website.  These options as they come available will be educational to provide you a look at things coming and/or help you better understand the things going on in the studio.

 

Since we do rely heavily on email for timely communication we ask that you provide your email address to the office if you haven't already done so.  We use a subscription service for our emails so you can have your name removed from the emails at any time simply be clicking the SafeUnsubscribe link at the bottom of any email you receive from our office.
